  • Helldorado Days Show, October 20-21, 2007

We had a friendly group of participants in the Tombstone show. The families of Blankenship, Comins, Eppley, Hardy, Nelson, Rohrer, and Ostrander exhibited 14 running engines. The families of Clark , Fieber, Gregan, Kastens, Lawhead, Nelson, Rohrer, Sandve, Weed, and Welch exhibited 10 tractors. These tractors and their drivers plus a wagon-load of others participated in the Sunday morning parade. Pat and Ray Brutscher sold calendars, shirts, and caps, and were assisted by other members. The cooperation of everyone helped contribute to the success and enjoyment of this event.

On Saturday evening, Art Austin and Larry Foxall cooked the meat. The rest of the meal was potluck. After the meal, Debra Austin distributed gifts which she purchased throughout the year, at her expense.

The owner of the Good Enough Mine provided a free tour to those members who happened to be at the exhibit at the time he was.

A gentleman gave several demonstrations on how to shoe horses in the Courthouse parking lot. Some of our members also exhibited a gas truck, a taxi, and a Franklin car.

The staff of Tombstone Courthouse State Historic Park , Friends of the Courthouse, and other volunteers are appreciated.
