    Leroy’s Plow Day, February 21, 2009

Leroy and Paulette Welch hosted the special day with over sixty in attendance.  Twenty-seven antique tractors took turns plowing 13 acres.  Some leveled the field so it could be plowed again.  The smell of overturned soil and the accompanying dust brought back fond memories.  Sleds were used for the garden and large tractors.  All had a good time.  The Welch, Hardy, and Tingle families prepared and supplied the dinner, while Bruce Tingle cooked hamburgers and wieners.  During the day, several members were able to purchase and sell antique items.

On Sunday, Ken and Carol Dunagan hosted the modified tractor pull.  Approximately 15 pullers participated.  Around noon, Carol furnished hamburgers and hotdogs for the participants.  They also provided the sled for Leroy’s event.  We thank them for making it available.

Go to Club’s Collections and then Leroy’s Fun Day.    You will see photos of the event.
